Diamond Sports New Media Services Internship

The Diamond Sports New Media internship provides students with a unique opportunity to develop true hands-on experience in new media technology and production in sports, and an in-depth understanding of contemporary multimedia video production. This program will be managed by a senior executive with over 20 years of experience in sports broadcasting production, including NBC, CBS and Viacom.

This internship will provide the student with a broad range of perspectives, and challenges students to develop expertise in new media production in an applied industry setting, and access to equipment and technique involved in learning and operating production equipment, including recording and editing in a variety of media, including web based video, and assisting the crew during production of Diamond Sports events.The Intern will assist producers on various events by recording and editing content for web, researching various information, and assisting in writing scripts, and content upload to Diamond Sports website. Each intern will develop an understanding of the time and planning that goes into creating a video by attending pre and post-event meetings, helping with set-up and takedown, at Diamond Sports studios and remote events at sports facilities in the NY Metro area.
